We use your data only to run and improve the service:

• To provide the compliance dashboard, calendar, reminders, and notifications.
• To generate AI summaries of compliance updates and plain-language reminders.
• To send you email, WhatsApp, SMS, or in-app reminders based on your preferences.

Documents uploaded to the vault are stored in the app's secure cloud storage. They are:

• Linked to your workspace and visible only to members of that workspace.
• Used to track expiry dates, generate reminders, and support compliance records.
• Encrypted in transit and stored with access controls.

You remain the owner of your documents. You can delete them from your vault at any time.

ComplianceCopilot AI uses Lovable Cloud Auth to manage sign-in. You can create an account with an email and password, or sign in with Google OAuth.

• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
• Sessions are managed with secure tokens and expire automatically when you sign out.
• Multi-user workspaces are controlled by role-based access, so team members only see data they are allowed to see.

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential app functions:

• Keeping you signed in.
• Remembering your preferences and settings.
• Supporting security features.

We do not use third-party marketing or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work correctly.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active so you can continue to manage compliance records and deadlines.

• Demo request data is retained while we follow up with you, and then archived or deleted when no longer needed.
• Deleted documents and records are removed from active views, though residual backups may be kept for a limited time for safety and legal purposes.
• You can request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

ComplianceCopilot AI uses AI models to simplify government notifications, generate reminders, and help draft compliance guidance.

• AI processing happens inside the same secure environment that runs the app.
• Uploaded documents are processed only to provide features you request, such as expiry detection and summary generation.
• AI outputs are meant to assist you; please verify important decisions with your CA, CS, or legal advisor.

We protect your data with a layered security approach:

• All data is encrypted in transit using TLS.
• Cloud storage and databases are encrypted at rest.
• Access controls and row-level security keep each workspace's data separate from other customers.
• Authentication is handled by a secure identity service with password hashing and session expiry.
